The following is a list of thesis defences taking place between Monday, Oct. 28 and Friday, Nov. 1

PhD in Educational Studies

Lauren Soluk, a PhD in Educational Studies candidate, will defend the thesis “Reimagining Learning Disabilities: Embracing Difference as an Empowering Resource Amidst Psycho-Emotional Disablism” on Monday, Oct. 28 from 1 to 4 p.m. in Plaza 600F.

The examination committee members are Elizabeth Vlossak, Chair; Michael Owen, Supervisor; Glen Jones, External Examiner (University of Toronto); Maureen Connolly, Internal Examiner; and Robert McGray and Ken Montgomery, Advisory Committee.

Master of Sustainability thesis defence 

Sanjida Amin, a Master of Sustainability candidate, will defend the thesis “Predicting Consumers’ Organic Food Consumption Behaviour” on Wednesday, Oct. 30 from 1 to 3 p.m. in virtual format.

The examination committee includes Dawn Zinga, Chair; Todd Green, Supervisor; Spencer Ross, External Examiner (University of Massachusetts); Garrett Hutson, Graduate Program Director; and Antonia Mantonakis and Lianxi Zhou, Committee Members.
