Brock University will welcome Grade 9 students to experience a day in the workplace on Wednesday, Nov. 6.

During Take Our Kids to Work Day, students can accompany a parent, guardian, relative or volunteer host to explore different career options while gaining insight into how education connects to the working world and experiencing the educational atmosphere of Brock’s campus.

The day will begin with a health and safety session followed by presentations on leadership and career exploration. After a campus tour and photos with Brock’s mascot, Boomer the Badger, participants will spend the afternoon job shadowing their parent or sponsor.

Brock employees must obtain supervisor approval to participate and complete the Workday form by Monday, Oct. 28.
