Fair to highlight postgrad options

Excitement is building for Brock University’s inaugural Graduate and Professional School Fair.

Set to take place in the Rankin Family Pavilion from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 22, the fair will give students an opportunity to explore how available programs align with their career aspirations and job market trends. Attendees will also be able to ask questions about admission requirements, financial aid and career outcomes.

The event will feature representatives from more than 25 institutions offering programs in fields such as health care, business, education, engineering and more.

This fair is the result of collaboration between Brock Co-op, Career and Experiential Education (CCEE) and the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Postdoctoral Affairs (FGSPA).

“We’re thrilled to offer this event right on Brock’s campus for our students to discover and explore continuing education opportunities that can help them achieve their career goals,” Associate Director, Career Education Melissa Beamer said.

Students can register for the Graduate and Professional School Fair on CareerZone through the events tab.

Undergraduate students are encouraged to attend a virtual information session prior to the fair to learn more about networking, professionalism and the event format. Students can register through ExperienceBU to attend on Wednesday, Oct. 16 or Friday, Oct. 18.

In addition to the fair, Brock will also host an internal graduate program showcase, the Tower Takeover, on Tuesday, Nov. 19. This event will allow students to experience the diverse graduate programs available at their home institution. Students can RSVP for the Tower Takeover event on ExperienceBU.
