Goodman grad to discuss consumer reactions to inflation

Note: This event will now take place in GSB 310.

The next Goodman Luncheon Speaker Series will delve deeper into how inflation-driven price increases influence consumers’ deal-seeking behaviour across different income levels and household sizes.

Jeff Boichuk (BBA ’08, MSc ’10), an Assistant Professor of Marketing at Western University’s Ivey Business School, will share more about his research during his talk, Deal seeking: How the cost of living, family size and income influence search patterns, on Friday, Sept. 20 from 12:30 to 2 p.m. in GSB 310.

Before completing his PhD at the University of Houston, Boichuk completed his undergraduate and master’s degrees at Brock with a focus on marketing. His research interests include the areas of business-to-business marketing, marketing analytics and sales force effectiveness. Before joining Ivey, he taught at the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce.

The Luncheon Speaker Series provides Goodman School of Business faculty, staff and students with an informal opportunity to discuss recent advances in research, teaching and practices with business colleagues.

The event is open to everyone. Anyone interested in attending can RSVP to Crystal Li at goodmandean@brocku.ca to reserve a seat.
