Badgers of all ages came together this week to not only celebrate Brock history, but also become a part of it.
To mark the University’s 60th anniversary, about 300 students, employees, retirees and alumni gathered Wednesday, Sept. 4 in front of the Maj.-Gen. Sir Isaac Brock statue with their eyes to the sunny sky, where aerial footage was captured to commemorate the milestone.
“This was a fun and high-energy way to kick off Brock’s 60th anniversary celebrations,” said event organizer Kristen Smith, the University’s Manager, Off-Campus and Community Experience. “It was wonderful to see everyone proudly wearing their Brock red and cheering together in front of the iconic Brock statue during the busiest week of the year and the day classes begin for the term.”
The historic imagery was captured by Brock alumnus Matt Milliere (BSM ’19), who returned to campus for the event.
