The Brock and wider Niagara communities will soon gather under the stars to mark the University’s 60th anniversary — and there’s still time to be a part of the milestone moment.

Tickets for Brock’s Skyline Celebration are on sale until Monday, Sept. 16.

The outdoor affair — held on the rooftop space known as the Podium that surrounds the iconic Arthur Schmon Tower — takes place Saturday, Sept. 21 from 6 to 11 p.m.

Meant to revisit the University’s past and celebrate its future, the signature event signals the official start of Brock’s anniversary year. Guests are invited to don their finest Brock gear, paired with a heaping helping of school spirit, while enjoying a night of local wines from alumni winemakers and food from local culinary vendors.

As they take in local delights, guests will also be treated to live music from:

Those keen to learn more about the University’s past will have the opportunity to stroll through the Pop-Up Archives, which deliver a glimpse into the vast treasure trove of resources that live within Brock Library’s Archives and Special Collections.

“We can’t wait to welcome our alumni, community partners and friends of the University back to campus for this special night to celebrate Brock’s Niagara roots,” says Meaghan Rusnell, Interim Vice-President, External. “This will be yet another proud moment in Brock history as we reflect on the many connections established since 1964 that have helped the institution grow into the comprehensive University it is today.”

The Skyline Celebration will take place during Brock’s Homecoming weekend, which also includes a stacked lineup of events from Friday, Sept. 20 to Sunday, Sept. 22. A full schedule is available at brocku.ca/homecoming
