Brock strengthens educational ties with Consulate General of China

Brock’s commitment to supporting Chinese students was at the forefront of a recent campus visit by delegates from the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in Toronto.

The delegation, which included Education Counsellor Renzhu Li and Education Consul Wenjin Han, was welcomed on Thursday, Sept. 19 through the collaborative efforts of Brock International, the Goodman School of Business and International Recruitment.

The visit sought to deepen the relationship between the Consulate and Brock, with a focus on enhancing opportunities for Chinese students studying in Ontario and reinforcing the strong educational partnerships between the University and its counterparts in China.

The event included meetings with senior administration to discuss the services offered by the Consulate and to share insights about Brock’s institutional profile. The delegation then met with Chinese students to learn more about their experiences at the University and discuss important topics such as safety, mental health and academic success.
