Brock University Students’ Union (BUSU) is making it easy for students to collect their Universal Bus Pass (U-Pass) during BadgerFest and the first few weeks of classes.
Students are encouraged to collect their U-Pass stickers Tuesday through Friday from Sept. 3 to 13. The U-Pass tables will remain open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will be located between the Student-Alumni Centre and Goodman School of Business. A valid Brock student card is required to collect a U-Pass.
U-Pass provides travel within the Niagara region for Brock students, including St. Catharines, Thorold, Niagara Falls, Welland, Fort Erie and Port Colborne. Students can learn more about U-Pass on the BUSU website.
“With more than three-quarters of Brock students taking the bus to campus each day, we are very excited to provide a U-Pass to as many students as possible for the upcoming year,” said BUSU Vice-President, University Affairs, Carleigh Charlton. “From coming on campus for classes and events, to commuting to their jobs in the community, or even just heading to the Pen Centre to shop, we are proud that the U-Pass can help connect our students to the Niagara region.”
If students are unable to collect their U-Pass before Friday, Sept. 13, they can visit BUSU’s Front Desk weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. BUSU is located on the third floor of the Student-Alumni Centre.
While students will not be asked to show their U-Pass stickers when riding the bus in September, they should be collected as soon as possible to ensure smooth travel on public transit.
