Master of Arts in History thesis defence
Paige Groot, a Master of Arts in History candidate, will defend the thesis “The Wooded Weald: Private Woodland Management and England’s ‘Timber Famine’, 1680-1790” on Wednesday, July 17 at 11 a.m. in PLZ 600F.

Abhishek Kumar, a Master of Science in Computer Science candidate, will defend his thesis titled “Towards Trustworthy AI: Investigating Bias and Confidence Alignment in Large Language Models” on Monday, July 15 at 11 a.m. in PLZ 600F.

Master of Arts in Child and Youth Studies thesis defence
Taylor Rowe, a Master of Arts in Child and Youth Studies candidate, will defend the thesis “Empowering New Beginnings: A Holistic Evaluation of a Community-Developed Multi-Sports Program for New-to-Canada Refugee Youths and Its Impact on Physical Literacy, Mental Wellbeing, and Social Health” on Monday, July 15 from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. in MCH 313 and in virtual/hybrid format.
