Evidence synthesis workshops to set researchers up for success

Brock research teams planning to undertake a systematic review, scoping review or other evidence synthesis project can access extra support from the Brock Library thanks to a series of workshops taking place next month.

During the three-part interactive online workshop series, teams will be matched with a librarian who will provide them with tailored support as they create evidence synthesis work plans that can be used to launch their projects.

The workshop series is intended for faculty-led teams who already have draft research questions and plans to launch evidence synthesis reviews in the near future. While registration is limited to eight research teams, more than one person from each team may attend.

It is strongly recommended that teams commit to attending all three sessions, which each take place from noon to 1 p.m. One member can RSVP on behalf of the whole team through ExperienceBU:

The series is presented by the Library’s Evidence Synthesis Working Group, which includes Teaching and Learning Librarian Kymberly Ash; Teaching and Learning Librarian Ian Gordon; Head, Research Lifecycle Denise Smith; and Research Librarian Elizabeth Yates, who is Chair of the working group.
