Four buildings at Brock University’s main campus will be closed and without power or network access overnight on Friday, May 10 for annual maintenance work.
Mackenzie Chown Complex blocks B through J Blocks, Inniskillin Hall, Alan Earp Residence and Residence 8 will be closed from 6 p.m. on Friday, May 10 to 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 11. All doors will be locked and swipe card access will be unavailable.
Employees and students in the affected areas are reminded to shut down computers, printers and sensitive equipment and to empty fridges and relocate anything at risk of spoilage before leaving campus Friday.
Power and network access in affected buildings, including wired and wireless connectivity, will shut down at 6 p.m. on Friday, May 10 in preparation for the closures.
Normal operation is expected to resume on Saturday morning. Updates will be posted to The Brock News and the University homepage in the unlikely event that power and network access cannot be restored to the affected areas as scheduled.
