Visiting Scholar opportunity available in Thailand this fall

Burapha University (BUU) in Thailand is inviting interested faculty members from its partner institutions to apply to be a Visiting Scholar for this fall.

Brock University’s partnership with BUU dates back to 1999 when the two institutions began collaborating to enhance global learning and research experiences for faculty, staff and students from both universities.

BUU is located in the coastal town of Saen Suk in Chonburi province. Established in 1955 as the Bangsaen Educational College, it was the region’s first tertiary educational institute.

Now a comprehensive university with more than 47,000 students, BUU has been a Term Abroad partner location for more than sixty Brock undergraduate students and the host destination for at least four of Brock’s international field courses – one of which is currently underway – since the partnership began.

BUU is currently seeking Visiting Scholars who teach in one of the following subject areas:

  • International Business Management
  • Digital and Creative Marketing
  • Finance
  • Logistics and Supply Chain Management
  • Hospitality, Tourism and MICE Management
  • International Human Resources
  • Global Business Communication

Selected Visiting Scholars are eligible to receive funding from BUU’s International Mobility Fund.

Brock International invites faculty members interested in this Thailand teaching experience to email globalscholars@brocku.ca by Friday, March 22. An updated curriculum vitae is required for the nomination process.
