Update on search for Brock’s next Provost and Vice-President, Academic

The search for Brock University’s next Provost and Vice-President, Academic is progressing to the next stage.

The Advisory Committee overseeing the search — chaired by the University President and Vice-Chancellor — will be starting interviews with candidates in early April. After further narrowing down the list of applicants, three candidates will be invited to campus for a second round of interviews and to deliver public presentations to the Brock community.

Faculty, staff, librarians and students are invited to attend the sessions to meet each candidate, ask questions and then share their feedback.

The public presentations have been scheduled for April 29, April 30 and May 1, with each taking place in person and via livestream beginning at 1:30 p.m. Each presentation will be 30 minutes followed by a question-and-answer period, and they will be recorded for those unable to attend or watch live.

The selected candidates and the location of the presentations will be announced once more information is available.

KBRS, the executive search firm engaged by the University to support the hiring process, will be collecting feedback from the Brock community to share with the Advisory Committee. Feedback can be submitted online by May 15 at noon.

Questions about the search process can be sent to Jennie Massey, lead consultant on the project, at jmassey@kbrs.ca
