University Road West will be closed to vehicular traffic Friday, Dec. 1 from 10:30 a.m. until the middle of the afternoon.University Road West will be unavailable to vehicle traffic Friday, Dec. 1.
An event hosted by Brock Sports will welcome visitors to campus via 15 school buses that will temporarily occupy University Road West.
Beginning at 10:30 a.m., barricades will be set up at the intersections of University Road West and Isaac Brock Boulevard West, as well as University Road West and Village Road, and each intersection will be overseen by a Campus Safety Services Special Constable. Once the drop off has been completed, the barriers will be temporarily removed until the buses return for pickup at 12:30 p.m. The barriers will be in place until all buses have left campus.
All vehicular traffic requiring access to the west side of campus will be rerouted via Village Road during the road closure.
Campus Safety Services will ensure emergency vehicles can access University Road West, if required.
