Dear Badgers,
The end of the year is a time for reflection and gratitude. As I look back, I think of the accomplishments that have defined Brock in 2023: groundbreaking research initiatives, the academic excellence of our students and the positive impact we make in our community every day — all made possible by your dedication to Brock’s success and growth.
In 2024, Brock will celebrate 60 years as a pillar of the Niagara region. During that time, we have prepared generations of young adults for productive and satisfying careers, all the while shaping the engaged citizens of tomorrow. We have partnered with local industry and community groups, helping them solve problems and extend their impact. We have transformed lives and, in so doing, transformed the region.
This Giving Tuesday, we can embody the spirit of generosity in which Brock University was founded and unite as a community in recognition of our philanthropic roots. We all know that these are challenging times, especially for our students, who can face economic uncertainty. Your donation to Brock will directly help our well-deserving students persevere through financial hardship with scholarships and bursaries, fostering an inclusive environment where everyone, regardless of their background, has the opportunity to succeed.
I’ve already made my donation, and I encourage you to join me. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference in the lives of our students. Together, we can continue to shape the future of the Niagara region.
I am grateful to you all, and I wish everyone a joyous season filled with warmth, kindness and the satisfaction of knowing you’ve made a difference.
Sincerely,
Lesley Rigg
