There’s still time to purchase tickets for the annual Souper Star event in support of Brock’s United Way employee fundraising campaign.
Taking place Thursday, Oct. 19 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Market Hall, the fundraiser invites faculty and staff to sample and vote on seven soups whipped up by Brock chefs and served by Faculty Deans, including:
- Smoked chicken corn chowder
- Roasted cauliflower with crispy onion and blue cheese
- Southwest chicken and orzo
- Roasted fall squash with apple cider sour cream and maple bacon
- Caribbean coconut chickpea stew with spinner dumplings
- Portuguese sausage and bean
- Vegetable minestrone
The winning Faculty will take home the coveted Souper Bowl trophy.
Tickets are $20 and can be purchased online, with all proceeds from the fundraiser going to the United Way Campaign thanks to generous in-kind sponsorship from Brock’s Dining Services partner Aramark Canada.
Employees who donate to Brock’s United Way Campaign online through Workday by 11:59 p.m. on Oct. 19 will automatically be entered into a draw to win a $100 Campus Store gift card. Payroll contributions with no end date will be included.
