An annual tradition will soon return when members of the Brock community bring their kids with them to work.

Brock will welcome Grade 9 students for Take Our Kids to Work Day on Wednesday, Nov. 1. Participating students can include a Brock employee’s children, relatives or friends.

Health Safety and Wellness will kick off the day with specialized programming related to health and safety considerations on the job, career planning, a campus tour and more. Participants will be able to job shadow with a Brock employee in the afternoon.

Employees must obtain their supervisor’s permission to participate in the program and consider any recommended training, health and safety precautions, and restricted workspaces and tasks.

All Grade 9 students, Brock employee parents/sponsors and their supervisors are required to print and sign a permission form and email it back to besafe@brocku.ca by Friday, Oct. 27.
