Brock student heading into the Dragons’ Den

Fourth-year Brock student Cecily Zeppetella faces down a panel of potential investors this Thursday night on CBC’s Dragons’ Den.

Together with her father, Pete Zeppetella, the Media and Communications major will try to persuade the Dragons to invest in ZeppsGear, a family business devoted to worker safety and comfort. ZeppsGear outerwear, “made by the worker for the worker,” is designed to allow a safety harness to be worn under the specially designed jackets.

Zeppetella is no stranger to pitching for industry professionals. Back in 2021, she acted as the emcee for the annual Grant Dobson Case Competition hosted by Brock’s Department of Communication, Popular Culture and Film.

Tune in to the CBC on Thursday, Oct. 5 at 8 p.m. to see her in action.
