While the weather has been unseasonably warm for fall, members of the Brock community are working together to help students prepare for colder temperatures to come.
Brock International, the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Postdoctoral Affairs, Student Life and Success, and the Friendship for Overseas College and University Students club are collecting gently used winter clothing items.
Clothing donations will be accepted until Monday, Oct. 16 at the Faith and Life Centre (located in Alphie’s Trough) and International Welcome Desk (located on the second floor of the International Centre). Staff, faculty and students are invited to donate:
- winter jackets
- winter boots
- scarves
- blankets
- socks (unused)
- gloves/mittens
- winter hats
To prioritize the needs of Brock students, the organizers ask that items beyond those listed above be donated elsewhere in the community.
Students will be able to pick up clothing Tuesday, Oct. 17 in the Faith and Life Centre.
