2023 Senate byelection results available

As the result of the 2023 Senate byelection, two faculty members have been acclaimed to the two available positions.

The nomination period for the 2023 Senate byelection closed at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 23, with two nominations received for the two positions available. As a result, those nominated were declared elected to Senate by acclamation in accordance with the Faculty Handbook II: 3.4.5(b).

Congratulations to the following faculty members who were acclaimed to the 2023 Senate:

For a three-year term ending the last day of Spring Convocation 2026:

  • Michael O’Sullivan, Associate Professor, Department of Educational Studies

For a one-year term ending the last day of Spring Convocation 2024:

  • Samantha Hajna, Assistant Professor, Department of Health Sciences
