New BU4U Student Service Hub opens in Thistle Complex

Brock students, employees and visitors will be able to get information and directions at two convenient locations starting Saturday, Sept. 2.

The new BU4U Student Service Hub in the Thistle Complex and re-opened Welcome Desk in the Rankin Family Pavilion will act as core information and visitor service centres with the goal of creating a welcoming environment for visitors and Brock community members.

The BU4U Welcome Desk Assistants, a team of student employees, will also connect students to services, supports and resources on campus.

“BU4U is all about creating a culture of caring at Brock. We want students to know that we are here for them,” said Nicole Finstad, Student Services Operations Co-ordinator. “The BU4U Student Service Hub acts as a central location where students can go to ask questions, find resources and be connected to key services and supports,”

Located beside the Sean O’Sullivan Theatre, the BU4U Student Service Hub will be open 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday. Brock Cards will still be available at the same location.

To support students during Move-in Weekend and the first week of classes, the BU4U Student Service Hub will be open extended hours:

  • Saturday, Sept. 2 and Sunday, Sept. 3 from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
  • Monday, Sept. 4 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Sept. 5 to Thursday, Sept. 7 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Located at one of the main entrances of campus, the Welcome Desk in the Rankin Family Pavilion will be open:

  • Monday to Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
  • Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
