Brock faculty and staff are invited to kick off the start of the Fall Term with the return of an annual tradition marking the beginning of the academic year.

The President’s Annual Opening of Term Barbecue will take place Thursday, Aug. 31 from noon to 1:30 p.m. in Jubilee Court. Market Hall will serve as a backup location in case of inclement weather.

Along with live music and lawn games, the event will include a lunch menu with a choice of beef burger, veggie burger or ballpark hot dog with a side of chips and canned pop. Halal and gluten-free options will also be available.

Tickets for the event, which have been subsidized by the President’s Office, are $6 each and available on Eventbrite. The deadline to purchase tickets is Monday, Aug. 21.

Employees will need to bring their ticket confirmation and Brock Card on the day of the event
