Women in Leadership to host anti-human trafficking advocate

Having completed a residency with Brock’s LINCubator program, Krystal Snider is ready to talk about her journey into leadership in the non-profit sector, entering the business world and working in gender-based violence prevention.

Krystal Snider helps organizations identify signs of human trafficking and symptoms of trauma associated with gender-based violence.

Snider is the Executive Disrupter at Collaborative Community Solutions, a Niagara-based consulting firm providing training for agencies on the identification and intervention of human trafficking and the symptoms of trauma associated with gender-based violence.

She will share insight into her role and experiences during Brock’s next Women in Leadership (WIL) event on Thursday, July 27 from noon to 1 p.m. All are invited to attend via Microsoft Teams. Details on this and other upcoming sessions are available on the WIL website.

In addition to her work as an entrepreneur, Snider is a certified trainer for crisis intervention and is certified in trauma-informed counselling for front-line workers.
