On April 29, 2020, following the Board of Trustees’ endorsement, Senate elected Hilary Pearson as Chancellor of Brock University for a three-year term, effective the date of her installation on Oct. 15, 2020. Re-election is permissible for the role.
The Governance Committee of Senate is responsible for making a recommendation to Senate on the election or re-election of the Chancellor. Before presenting its report to Senate, the Committee is soliciting the views of members of the University community.
On behalf of the Committee, the University Secretary will receive input on the re-election of the Chancellor until 4:30 p.m. on Friday, March 3.

All submissions will be treated confidentially and will not be shared outside of the Governance Committee and Senate.
