Feedback sought on proposed discontinuation of programs

The following is a list of recent requests for program discontinuation.

As part of the approval process outlined in the Institutional Quality Assurance Process (IQAP), the requests are being made available for the information of Brock University community to allow the opportunity for comment prior to moving to the next step in the IQAP.

Bachelor of Education in Adult Education

The Department of Educational Studies has submitted a Request for Program Discontinuation indicating it seeks approval under the IQAP to discontinue the Bachelor of Education in Adult Education program.

The request can be viewed on the Office of the Provost and Vice-President, Academic website. The posting will remain in place for 21 days — until 4:30 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 20.

Comments on the above request must be submitted by Monday, Feb. 20 by email to the Academic Review Committee via Vice-Chair Brian Power and Department of Educational Studies Chair David Hutchison.

In submitting a response, include ‘ADED Program Discontinuation’ in the subject line.

Bachelor of Science in Computing and Network Communications

The Department of Computer Science has submitted a Request for Program Discontinuation indicating it seeks approval under the IQAP to discontinue the Bachelor of Science in Computing and Network Communications (CNET) program, offered jointly with Sheridan College.

The request can be viewed on the Office of the Provost and Vice-President, Academic website. The posting will remain in place for 21 days — until 4:30 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 20. 

Comments on the above request must be submitted by Monday, Feb. 20 by email to the Academic Review Committee via Vice-Chair Brian Power and Department of Computer Science Chair Brian Ross.

In submitting a response, include ‘CNET Joint Program Discontinuation’ in the subject line.
