The following is a list of thesis defences taking place between Tuesday, Oct. 11 and Friday, Oct. 14.
Master of Science thesis defence
Hooman Nanchian, a Master of Science candidate in the Department of Physics, will defend the thesis “Exotic gap structures in multiband superconductors” on Tuesday, Oct. 11 at 1:30 p.m. via a hybrid format in WH 147.
The examination committee includes Cheryl McCormick, Chair; Kirill Samokhin, Supervisor; Stephanie H. Curnoe, External Examiner (Memorial University of Newfoundland); and Edward Sternin and Barak Shoshany, Committee Members.
Master of Science thesis defence
Cameron Andress, a Master of Science candidate in the Department of Computer Science, will defend the thesis “Deep Evolutionary Generative Molecular Modeling for RNA Aptamer Drug Design” on Wednesday, Oct. 12 at 10:30 a.m. in a virtual format.
