The following is a list of thesis defences taking place between Tuesday, Sept. 6 and Friday, Sept. 9.
Master of Science thesis defence
Penghan Yan, a Master of Science candidate in the Department of Computer Science, will defend the thesis “Fog Connectivity Clustering and MDP Modeling for Software-defined Vehicular Networks” on Tuesday, Sept. 6 at 1 p.m. in virtual format.

PhD in Biotechnology thesis defence
Christine Kempthorne, a PhD in Biotechnology candidate, will defend the thesis “Secret gardens: Exploring horticultural and ecological chemistry through mass spectrometry-based profiling” on Thursday, Sept. 8 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in PLZ 600F.

PhD in Chemistry thesis defence
Korey Bedard, a PhD in Chemistry candidate, will defend the thesis “Synthesis of unnatural analogues of narciclasine: Chemoenzymatic synthesis of 2-epi-1-hydroxymethylnarciclasine” on Friday, Sept. 9 from 2 to 5 p.m. in PLZ 600F.
