Master of Arts in Child and Youth Studies thesis defence

Sophia Attema, a Master of Arts in Child and Youth Studies candidate, will defend the thesis “‘We Are a Family That Works With Our Hands’ or Uterus: An Exploration of First-Generation Female University Students’ Academic Journey” on Tuesday, Aug. 23 at 10 a.m. in virtual format.

The examination committee includes Stephen Emrich, Chair; Tom O’Neill, Supervisor; Wolfgang Lehmann, External Examiner (Professor, Department of Sociology, Western University); Hannah Dyer, Graduate Program Director; and Shauna Pomerantz and Shannon Moore, Committee Members.

Master of Arts in Applied Disability Studies thesis defence

Sarah Bernier, a Master of Arts in Applied Disability Studies candidate, will defend the thesis “Evaluating Virtual Training for Increasing Clinicians’ Fidelity of Implementation of the Facing Your Fears Curriculum” on Friday, Aug. 26 at 10 a.m. in virtual format.
