Faculty, staff parking permits on sale Tuesday

Parking permits for Brock University’s Fall and Winter Terms will go on sale for faculty and staff Tuesday, July 12.

Beginning at 10 a.m., permits can be purchase online only through the Parking Services self-serve.

On Tuesday, July 26, permits will go on sale for all customers, with Residence Parking permits to follow on Aug. 2.

Parking remains free in Zone 1 until Aug. 31.

“We’re planning for a higher capacity on campus this September, so it’s important for customers to order their parking permit as soon as possible to avoid disappointment,” said Stephanie Nobles, Manager, Parking Services. “We want to ensure everyone can purchase the parking permit of their choice.”

With the safety of pedestrians in mind, drivers will no longer be able to enter or exit Zone 1 via the entrance of Lot E. New barricades will be installed along the walkway through Zone 1 and Lot E on Thursday, July 14.

These barricades will outline the distinction between Zone 1 permitted parking and Lot E visitor parking. Additional temporary signage will be put up to help students and staff navigate the new layout.

Several of Brock’s parking lots have recently changed names, including:

  • Zone 4 (previously Lot M)
  • Lot Glenridge (previously Lot EA)
  • Lot East Academic (previously Lot EB)
  • Lot CUB (previously Lot L)

Signage and wayfinders around campus will be updated during the summer to help navigate the area.

Faculty and staff are encouraged to visit the Parking Services website and read email updates from the department for the most up-to-date information on changes to parking on campus.

Parking Services is located inside the Campus Store and is open Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. For any parking inquiries, email parking@brocku.ca
