Matt Melnyk, Brock’s Director of Student Recruitment in the Office of the Registrar, has been elected as a representative of ongoing staff to the Board of Trustees.

He will serve a three-year term, effective July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2025, and joins continuing staff representative Trecia McLennon, Brock’s Director, EDI Culture and Education.

Melnyk will assume the role of staff representative from Brad Clarke, who was recently named Brock’s Associate Vice-President, Students, when his three-year term ends June 30.

Five individuals ran in the election and more than 347 ballots were received.

The Board of Trustees recognizes the importance of having staff representation on the Board and is pleased to see such staff engagement in the process, both from those who stood in the election and those who voted.
