Free parking returns with an extra jolt for electric vehicles

Free parking will again be available at Brock University this spring and summer.

From Sunday, May 1 to Wednesday, Aug. 31, a permit will not be required to park in Zones 1 or 2 on weekdays or weekends; however, parking is still prohibited in both zones from 2 to 5 a.m.

Also until Aug. 31, drivers of electric vehicles can park and charge for free at any of the University’s ChargePoint Electric Vehicle Charging Stations, which are located throughout the main campus.

These spaces are only available to electric vehicles that are actively charging, and owners are asked to move their vehicle once the charge is complete to make the space available for others.
