Brock Dining Services back to full service with new locations, apps

After two years of partial closures, all Brock Dining Services locations are officially open, with new venues, apps and services offering customers more food options, convenient mobile ordering and real-time feedback.

New food locations on campus include a fully licensed Starbucks in Guernsey Market and a renovated Tim Hortons in Hungry Badger offering full breakfast and lunch menus.

Customers looking to skip lineups can download the new Hey Chef app, which allows mobile ordering for Hungry Badger and Guernsey Market, including the new Starbucks. To place orders for Tim Hortons, including the full-service location in Hungry Badger, customers can continue to use the Tim Hortons mobile app.

Anyone who registers with the new Hey Chef app will receive $3 off their first order. To sign up, download the app via the Apple App Store or Google Play and use a Brock email and password. Enter the access code BROCK to see available dining locations and menu items. Accepted forms of payment include credit, debit, Apple Pay, Brock dining dollars and Brock Card.

To learn more about the Hey Chef app, customers can attend one of two drop-in information sessions taking place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 2 in Guernsey Market and Thursday, March 10 in Hungry Badger.

Customers interested in offering feedback about Brock Dining Services locations can do so through a new feedback platform called Happy or Not. Customers can scan a QR code at the dining location or visit the Dining Services website to rate their satisfaction level.

Malcolm Dales, Director, Dining Services, said after two years of working through public health and University protocols, he is excited to be at a point where the Dining Services team can scale up operations with its food partner, Aramark.

“I want to thank our team members and customers for their hard work and patience during these challenging times,” he said. “New locations, new apps and feedback pathways are just a few of the features we have been able to build and implement since the last time some of our customers have been on campus. We look forward to welcoming back the Brock community.”
