Applications open for international work, study opportunities

Opportunities through two organizations are now available to Brock employees thinking of working overseas or inviting international colleagues to do so at the University.

Opportunities also exist for international students interested in studying at Brock.

Global Affairs Canada’s 2022-2023 Short Exchange Programs promote partnerships, student mobility and research collaborations between Canadian and international post-secondary institutions.

Faculty, international students and exchange students can come to Brock through the Emerging Leaders in the Americas Program (ELAP), Canada-CARICOM Faculty Leadership Program (non-Canadian) and Study in Canada Scholarships program.

Those interested in applying must submit applications by Monday, March 14 at the links below:

Also currently accepting applications is Academics Without Borders (AWB), a Canadian non-governmental organization that supports capacity-building projects at higher education institutions in low- and middle-income countries. Brock faculty and staff are invited to submit a proposal to AWB through the organization’s website.

Proposals must improve and expand higher education in low- and middle-income countries and educate local experts and professionals integral for future development. To qualify, submissions should also:

The deadline for the proposal’s first stage is Monday, March 7. AWB will announce which proposals will move on to the second stage on Monday, March 21.
