Statement of Intent for BSc (Honours) in Applied Ecology

Brock’s Departments of Biological Sciences and Geography and Tourism Studies have submitted a Statement of Intent that they wish to submit the Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Applied Ecology program for approval under the Internal Quality Assurance Process (IQAP).

As part of that process, the Statement is being made available for the information of the University community, to allow the opportunity for comment prior to moving to the next step in the IQAP.

The Statement of Intent can be viewed on the Office of the Provost and Vice-President, Academic website. The posting will remain in place for 21 days — until 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 4.

Comments on the above proposal must be submitted by Friday, Feb. 4 via email to the Academic Review Committee via Vice-Chair Brian Power, Biological Sciences Department Chair Jeff Stuart and Geography and Tourism Studies Department Chair Michael Pisaric.

In submitting a response, please include the new program title in the subject line.

More information on the proposed Applied Ecology program can be found in a December Brock News article highlighting some of the projects supported by Brock’s Academic Initiatives Fund.
