There is still time to nominate a group of Brock University employees who’ve shown what can be accomplished through the power of teamwork.
The deadline for nominations for the Brock University Outstanding Team Service Award is Wednesday, Jan. 12 at 4:30 p.m.
Created by the Office of the President and Vice-Chancellor, the new award will annually recognize a team of faculty and/or staff members for their outstanding contributions throughout the year beyond what is normally expected. Criteria for the award includes:
- The provision of exceptional service to staff, faculty, students, alumni, donors or visitors; or
- The identification of measures that contribute to the effectiveness of University operations; or
- A direct or indirect contribution that positively impacts the University community internally or externally. For example, a contribution that impacts student success or a contribution that impacts the reputation of Brock.

Award winners will be announced Wednesday, Jan. 26 at the 26th annual Distinguished Staff Service Awards event beginning at 2:30 p.m.
Also being recognized at the event will be the recipients of the President’s Distinguished Staff Service Award for Outstanding Contributions and the Human Resources Distinguished Staff Service Award for Leadership, as well as employees who have reached 25- and 35-year milestones. The event will be livestreamed via Lifesize.
