Students, researchers invited to participate in Niagara Health Research Day

Members of the Brock community are invited to share their health-related research at an upcoming virtual event.

As part of Niagara Health’s annual Research Day on Thursday, Feb. 10, researchers will have the opportunity to showcase their quality improvement work or research that relates to supporting a healthier Niagara.

Interested participants must first submit an abstract of 250 words or less that describes their research or quality improvement work by Thursday, Dec. 23 to Barbara.Wiinholt@niagarahealth.on.ca

Selected applicants will then receive an email on or before Monday, Jan. 10 to let them know if they have been selected to complete a poster presentation. A research poster summarizes the research or project in a concise and visually appealing way, while publicizing the work and generating discussion about methods, findings and implications. Details for formatting and presenting a virtual poster will be shared when participants receive the decision notification about their abstract.

Anyone interested in further information is invited to contact Niagara Health Research Manager Elaina Orlando at Elaina.Orlanda@niagarahealth.on.ca
