Master of Science in Computer Science thesis defence

Maysara Al Jumaily, a Master of Science candidate in the Department of Computer Science, will defend his thesis “Optimal Quaternary Hermitian Linear Complementary Dual Codes for Entanglement-Assisted Quantum Error Correction ” on Thursday, Oct. 14 at 9 a.m. in virtual format.

Master of Science in Biological Sciences thesis defence

Jessie L. de Haan, a Master of Science candidate in the Department of Biological Sciences, will defend her thesis “The ecological and physiological consequences of sun vs. shade nesting for the small carpenter bee, Ceratina calcarata, and their offspring” on Thursday, Oct. 14 at 10:30 a.m. in virtual format.

Master of Sustainability thesis defence

Bridget McGlynn, a Master of Sustainability candidate, will defend her thesis “An Examination of Collaborative Governance for Complex Adaptive Systems in the St. John River Basin” on Friday, Oct. 15 at 1 p.m. in virtual format.

The examination committee includes Dawn Zinga, Chair; Ryan Plummer, Supervisor; Brian Chaffin, External Examiner (Associate Professor of Water Policy and Governance, W.A.
