Special delivery: Brock receives gift of 50,000 packages of Lysol wipes

Reckitt, maker of Lysol disinfecting products has partnered with Brock to help ensure the health and wellness of those learning and working on campus this fall.

The University has received 50,000 packages of the company’s Lysol disinfecting wipes, which will be placed in common areas such as athletics facilities, administrative offices, student residences and in other high-traffic areas around campus.

Reckitt, the company that makes Lysol disinfecting products, has donated 50,000 packages of wipes to Brock University.

For more than a century, Lysol has been protecting families from illness-causing germs. “We believe there is nothing more important than keeping our loved ones safe and healthy, which is why we are proud to be able to help Brock in their efforts to ensure a safe back-to-school environment this winter.”

The gift demonstrates the strong partnerships Brock has built both in the local community and across the country.

“We’re lucky to have such generous supporters in the business community, who understand the importance of keeping our campus community healthy and well,” says Ken Chan, Brock’s Vice-President, Administration. “The safety of Brock’s students, faculty and staff remains the University’s top priority and this contribution adds to our ability to provide an exceptional on-campus experience in a safe environment.”

Brock implemented enhanced cleaning and disinfecting protocols at the beginning of the pandemic that go above and beyond the requirements set out by public health.
