The following is a list of thesis defences taking place from Monday, Sept. 13 to Friday, Sept. 17.

Master of Arts in Child and Youth Studies thesis defence

Natalie Tacuri, a Master of Arts in Child and Youth Studies candidate, will defend her thesis “Examining Conceptualizations of Dance in Ontario University Athletic Contexts” on Monday, Sept. 13 at noon via video conference.

Master of Science in Computer Sciences thesis defence

Binal Tejani, a Master of Science in Computer Sciences candidate, will defend his thesis “Game Theory-based Allocation Management in VCC Networks” on Tuesday, Sept. 14 at 1 p.m. via video conference.

Master of Arts in Applied Disability Studies thesis defence

Brittney Sureshkumar, a Master of Arts in Applied Disability Studies candidate, will defend her thesis “An Evaluation of Video Prompting Procedures via Telehealth to Teach First Aid Skills to Children with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities” on Wednesday, Sept. 15 at 2 p.m. via video conference.

PhD in Applied Health Sciences thesis defence

Michael McAlpine, a PhD candidate in Applied Health Sciences, will defend his thesis “Tea types and their effects on in vitro mineralization and in vivo bone structure and density” on Thursday, Sept.16, from 4 to 7 p.m. via video conference.

Master of Arts in Psychology thesis defences

Chelsie Resch, a Master of Arts in Psychology (Lifespan Development stream) candidate, will defend her thesis “Examining the Role of Physiological Arousal in Laboratory Risk-Taking in Social and Non-Social Contexts” on Friday, Sept. 17 at 10 a.m. via video conference.
