Online panel discussion to focus on anti-Asian racism

Members of the Brock community are invited to participate in an upcoming webinar where a panel of speakers will discuss anti-Asian racism.

On Wednesday, June 9, from 7 to 8 p.m. a panel of Brock students, faculty and alumni will speak about a variety of topics relating to anti-Asian racism, including:

  • What does anti-Asian racism look like?
  • How are Asian people positioned within a racial hierarchy?
  • How do we address anti-Asian violence during the pandemic? and
  • How is anti-Asian violence tied to colonialism and decolonization?

Moderated by Leela MadhavaRau, Brock’s Director of Human Rights and Equity, the webinar will take place on Zoom and a link to participate can be found on ExperienceBU.
