Brock alumna Angela Salvatore (BA ’02) is the first woman to hold the position of Chair of the Ontario Bar Association Taxation Law Section.
In her talk, Salvatore will discuss her path to leadership and share the non-traditional route she took to tax law. She will also talk about the importance of transferrable skills, networking and outreach, and being involved in one’s legal community.
The Women in Leadership initiative aims to support women in formal and informal leadership positions and to encourage the next generation of potential women leaders. All women and allies are invited to attend. Faculty and staff from Brock’s Law Plus program are particularly encouraged to participate in the session.
