Brock University faculty, staff and students are invited to the first in a series of virtual Town Hall meetings set for Friday, Sept. 25 at 9 a.m.
This first online meeting of the academic year will allow senior leaders to discuss and answer questions about Brock’s progress in fulfilling the goals of the Institutional Strategic Plan.
The meetings will be hosted live by President Gervan Fearon, as well as Lynn Wells, Provost and Vice-President, Academic, and Tim Kenyon, Vice-President, Research.
The first meeting, expected to run from 9 to 11 a.m. on Friday, will focus on two Strategic Plan priority areas:
- Offering a transformational and accessible academic and university experience
- Building research capacity across the University
The meetings will start with a short overview presentation, followed by a virtual ‘open floor’ discussion with questions being submitted to the speakers.
In order to participate in the Town Hall, faculty, staff and students should visit the event’s Lifesize page here on Friday at 9 a.m.
A second Town Hall meeting on the remaining two Strategic Plan priority areas is scheduled for April 2021, while two more meetings are also planned for this Fall and Winter to provide an update on the financial health of the University.
