Campus Store launches revised, customer-oriented website

Attention shoppers: Brock’s Campus Store is unveiling its new and improved website, with a major emphasis enhancing the online customer shopping experience.

The new website — which features course materials, apparel, stationery, technology, and gifts and accessories — helps ensure that students, alumni, faculty, staff and other members of the Brock community have access to required materials that can be delivered right to their doorstep.

“Being able to shop goods online has become an extremely important tool given the challenges facing retail today,” says Associate Director, Campus Store Nick Fabiano. “As we head into our busiest time of the year, we have been hard at work to improve and refresh our online store.”

The upcoming booklist for the Fall Term launches Friday, Aug. 7 and comprises all faculty-ordered required course materials for students to purchase.

New this fall is the improved delivery of electronic books, with increased e-book offerings that have real-time downloading ability. Faculty who are looking to place last minute course material orders for their class are asked to email adoptions@brocku.ca at their earliest convenience.

The Campus Store has also partnered with various departments across campus, such as Brock International, as well as Faculties, for back to school promotions and program-specific mailings information, and is still offering free shipping for orders over $50 throughout the Fall Term. The Store uses a mail courier service that takes one to three days for items to arrive, with shipping outside of Canada being subject to the destination and weight of the package.

Customers may also now use their Brock University credentials as their account sign in when looking to check out their online order, which removes the need to create a new account profile, a process that had that existed up until this point.

“We look forward to welcoming our customers to our new online shopping experience,” says Fabiano.
