Thesis defences — July 20 to 24

The following is a list of thesis defences taking place virtually from Monday, July 20 to Friday, July 24.

Master of Psychology thesis defence

Lydia Lavis, a master of Psychology (Lifespan Development) candidate, will defend the thesis “The Relation between Young Children’s Memory and Metacognition” on Tuesday, July 21 at 10 a.m. via video conference.

The examination committee includes Dawn Zinga, Chair; Caitlin Mahy, Supervisor; Lynn Dempsey, External Examiner (Chair and Associate Professor, Department of Applied Linguistics, Brock University); Stephen Emrich, Graduate Program Director; Dawn Good, Committee Member; and Cathy Mondloch, Committee Member.

Master of Psychology thesis defence

Sarah Henderson, a master of Psychology (Behavioural & Cognitive Neuroscience) candidate, will defend the thesis “Alpha Suppression as a Neural Marker of Task Demands in Voluntary vs Involuntary Retrieval in Older and Younger Adults” on Friday, July 24 at 10 a.m. via video conference.
