Brock University President Gervan Fearon has recorded a video message thanking Brock alumni working on the front lines during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“You’re playing a very special role,” he said. “I can absolutely tell you you’re a hero for your action and the support you provide to others.”

Fearon said he also relatives working in health care and said he shares the concern of the community about keeping them safe.

“A lot of people will be concerned about how you’re doing, but also a lot of people will be incredibly proud about what you’re doing,” Fearon said. “It’s the what you’re doing that makes a difference in the lives of so many individuals.”
