The Schmon Tower’s familiar red glow will give way to an array of colour schemes to mark several occasions taking place this month.

Throughout the month, the tower will be lit in red and green for the holidays. It will also be illuminated red on Sunday, Dec. 1 for World Aids Day and white on Friday, Dec. 6 for National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women.

The tower is lit externally with 48 powerful LED lights which offer a full rainbow of colour options.

Members of the community can request the tower be illuminated in a particular colour for holidays and non-commercial special events.
