What we miss by studying mostly men: Research by Environmental Physiology PhD student Kate Wickham about the need for more women to be included in sports science research was featured in an Outside Online article.

Ideal power nap should be between 10 to 20 mins anytime you want, according to NASA: Psychology Professor Kimberly Cote spoke about the benefits of short naps in an India Times article that compared her sleep research to similar research by NASA.

The marriage between Brock and Niagara Public Health is official: The signing of a recent memorandum of understanding between Brock University and Niagara Public Health, which will see the organizations partner on research, guest lectures, career events and experiential education opportunities, was featured in a Newstalk 610 CKTB article.

Steel Blade Classic makes the cut with upwards of 4,700 hockey fans: The return of Brock’s annual Steel Blade Classic exhibition men’s hockey game to the Meridian Centre in downtown St. Catharines was the subject of a St. Catharines Standard Article. More than 4,700 fans packed the arena to take in the annual event.
