Volunteers needed to help welcome students to Brock

With thousands of first-year students set to descend on Brock’s Ian Beddis Gymnasium Tuesday, Sept. 3, volunteers are needed to help streamline the welcome process.

The University’s newest batch of Badgers will gather for the New Student Welcome and Academic Orientation, where they will hear from President Gervan Fearon and current Brock students before spending the rest of the day with their respective Faculties.

To provide a seamless experience, volunteers are needed to assist with wayfinding support and student sign-in. Help is required from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m.

Volunteers will receive training documents online in advance and are asked to wear Brock clothing on the day of the event.

Staff, faculty and students interested in volunteering are invited to apply on Experience BU by noon on Wednesday, Aug. 28.
