On the evening of Friday, Aug. 16, a reboot of Brock University’s phone system will put all landline phones and all elevators out of service for several hours.
All emergency phones will also be affected.
This applies to all Brock facilities, including:
- Main Campus
- East Academic
- Glenridge A and B
- International Building
- Brock Research & Innovation Centre (BRIC)
- Rodman Hall
- Hamilton Campus
- Marilyn I. Walker School in downtown St. Catharines
Elevators will be out of commission starting at 6 p.m., while the phone system will be offline at 8 p.m.
All phones and elevators are expected to remain offline until 2 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 17, although any unforeseen issues in the maintenance project could delay the return to service.
