The Schmon Tower Tim Hortons will be closed Tuesday, July 30 to allow for the installation of a new point of sale (POS) system.

During the daylong closure, the Thistle Tim Hortons will be open to accommodate orders for drinks and baked goods.  

The installation of the new system will see the addition of two new POS units and four new kitchen monitors that will greatly improve order accuracy, decrease wait times and allow for the implementation of Tims Rewards. 

The registers will also allow for the future launch of Tim’s Mobile Order and Pay as well as the redemption and purchase of gift cards. 

The Schmon Tower Tim Hortons will reopen with the new units on Wednesday, July 31.
